When the Glass Boat opened in 1986 it quickly became one of the Southwest’s most popular restaurants. Today the Boat is still regarded as one of the region's top eateries with a reputation for quality and consistency.

With its blend of classic European and modern cooking styles, the Glass Boat's award winning cuisine demonstrates creativity, imagination and flair.

Today, at the helm of the Boat's kitchen is Head Chef Neil Davis, who produces dishes that are generous in size and have a strong emphasis on flavours. There is a predominance of well-executed "classic" dishes alongside some more adventurous fare.
